Shama has always been drawn to caring for others, but it wasn’t until learning more about the holistic approach to medicine that she found her true passion. As an advocate for decreasing preventable risk factors of heart disease, diabetes, and other chronic illnesses, Shama focuses on the whole patient. She adamantly believes it is her job to educate patients of those risks and inspire them to make changes.
A board certified physician assistant, Shama completed her undergraduate studies at Boston University prior to receiving her master’s degree from Seton Hall University where she graduated magna cum laude.
In her free time, Shama loves cooking and trying new recipes, hiking with her husband, and spending time with her family and friends.
